My Forex Strategy that help me consistently winning
1. Use hourly candle
2. Plot a blue box on GMT00 for all 4 pair (USDJPY, GBPJPY, EURUSD, GBPUSD)
(you need to wait until GMT00 end, so technically you can only plot the blue box on GMT01, use the max and min of GMT00 candle)
(you can plot the bluebox on your mobile phone MT4 or tradingview or computer MT4)
3. Only trade USDJPY and GBPJPY on GMT02 onward
4. Only trade EURUSD and GBPUSD on GMT07 onward
(this is because Tokyo open on GMT00 and London open on GMT07 and US open on GMT12)
Strongest signal for JPY is on GMT01,GMT02,GMT03
Strongest signal for EUR and GBP is on GMT07,GMT08,GMT09
Strongest signal for USD is on GMT12, GMT13, GMT14
5. Once a hourly candle break at least 10 pip, you can open trade, Stop loss put at the bottom of the blue box, TP you can set any you like (normally I like 20 to 30 pip) up to your
preference
(technically you can only start trade on GMT02, becoz you need to wait for the GMT01 candle close)
(Do not open trade until the candle is close, example on top, you can only open position on GMT02
once the GMT01 candle is close, you cannot open position on GMT01:33 or GMT01:45)
To avoid itchy hand, do not look at the chart before 55 minute, example do not look at the chart at
3:33pm or 3:45pm, only look at the chart at 3:55pm, so you have 5 minute to consider trading, and only open position at 3:59pm
The Meat of the candle must break the box by at least 10 pip, if only needle break the box it is invalid
6. if after first position open it drawdown 20 pip, you can open second position, SL for both
position is the same, Once you open second position, adjust the TP for both position so that both TP is also the same
7. You can open third position if further drawdown occur after you open second position
8. Maximum open trade at the same time = 3 (do not break this rule or you will break your
account)
9. after many days of drawing bluebox, each bluebox act as a support and resistance line so
you can use previous day or previous previous day blue box to decide your TP
Time Management :
1. Only check the chart on 55 minute on each hour for signal, example GMT0:55, GMT1:55,
GMT2:55
2. Avoid checking the chart halfway such as 3:33pm because the hourly candle still moving
3. Always remember
Strongest signal for JPY is on GMT01,GMT02,GMT03
Strongest signal for EUR and GBP is on GMT07,GMT08,GMT09
Strongest signal for USD is on GMT12, GMT13, GMT14
Money Management
1. Use flat betting, do not increase bet size after win or lose
2. Max open trade = 3, do not exceed or you will blow your account
3. Make sure you have 500 pip drawdown capability on your account or you will blow your
account
– Losing 150 pip per day , losing 3 days straight is quite common, you need to prepare
for at least 500 pip drawdown News Avoidance
1. Use forexfactory.com to check for news for the days and weeks
2. Avoid super news such as NFP (non farm payroll), ECB press conference, FOMC, BOJ
Press conference
3. Do not trade during those hour, my strategy do not work on those hour Emotion Control
1. Among the hardest thing ever is emotion control
2. When you lose, you will lose your sense and you want to win back immediately
3. Always always remember, if you open position immediately winning chance is 50%
4. Please be patient and wait for signal your winning chance is at least 60%
